What brand/quality of shirts do you print on?
We print on quality name brand shirts from Gildan, Hanes, and Fruit of the Loom. Gildan Ultra Cotton 6.1 oz and Heavy Cotton 5.3 oz shirts are typically what we print on unless the customer specifies a certain brand or style of shirt. We can also print on organic and union produced items if requested.
Can you print on colored shirts?
Yes, we several different colors of shirts to print on: light blue, light pink, yellow haze, sand, and natural.
Do you print non color changing products?

I have an idea, can Color by the Sun make it a reality?
Yes. We have artists that can create the artwork needed to produce the color changing products. Color by the Sun produced artwork is an additional charge. Most custom designs will run in the $300-$400 range for a one-time creation cost. We will always provide an estimate on artwork prior to beginning a project so the customer will know the production costs.
What file format do you need the artwork in?
We prefer Adobe Illustrator (.ai) or .eps files that have assigned colors. This file format allows us to scale the artwork to the desired size. We can also use Adobe Photoshop (.psd) files (sized for printing and 200+dpi). We can create electronic artwork for printing from many formats including .jpg, gif, and .bmp formats or from original artwork that we can scan. We will always provide an estimate on artwork prior to beginning a project so the customer will know the production costs.

Products from our Online Store are shipped via USPS Priority 2-3 Day Mail with Delivery Confirmation. Custom products are shipped via UPS Ground insured and are delivered in 3-5 business days. Other carriers can be arranged as requested.
What is your return policy?
Color by the Sun wants our customers to be completely satisfied with your order. Returns within 30 days of purchase can be returned by contacting us for a return authorization. We are not able to refund shipping costs to get the product to you or for you to return the product. All returns must be in resellable condition, or a refund will not be issued. For custom orders, refunds are only issued if the merchandise is damaged upon delivery.
